Antonio loves wine, he loves to choose and pair it with food and the different atmospheres that require certain flavours. For this year’s festivities, he has decided to propose a selection of wines – 4 different types per hamper – which are amongst his favourites. He defines them as wines he cherishes most due to their flavour, intensity, evocative power and expressive character.
The group of diners will share the same bottle of wine, pair it with the menu they have chosen for the occasion and then toast whatever they like ̶ at home, or in a holiday spot. The important thing is not to stop the story of the wine that is consumed between the pleasures of the body, the reflections of the mind and the changes of the spirit.
The precious, fragrant nectar will wet our lips, linger in our mouths, sprinkle our very tissues and warmly caress our souls. Each sip of wine tells a story. Every aroma takes us on a multidimensional sensory journey. Every glass symbolises a ritual: conviviality and sharing affinities with others.
Whether we drink one bottle or more, a glass or just a drop of wine, it inspires, nourishes and feeds our thoughts and emotions. Fragments of memory re-emerge, new reflections surface and hidden desires are revealed; an inner world is just waiting to be described and divulged. Antonio has chosen a lovely notebook for you called “appunti di vino” (“wine notes”) that can be added to the wine hamper.
One last thing: the hamper is a wicker basket that can be used on your bicycle, so after you have drunk the wine, eaten the delicious food and rested, you can put the basket on your bike and go for a ride around your town.
You can choose four different types of wines for the wine hamper:
